A date with Paris

Four years in the making- today I get my chance.
A date with Paris.
After a three hour drive I only had two hours to get to know her. People say that she is full of stories about love and romance- today l’lI be stranger to her and she to me.
No presumptions, no disappointments. That’s the rule today.
I get down from my bus and immediately she embraces me.
I resist.
On cue, accordions played. Surrounded by beautiful architecture, history meshed with souvenir shops and a brilliant blue sky no wonder it’s everywhere!
LOVE-
Passionate
Admiration
Intimate
even the unconditional.
There was no escaping it! – I resist.
Time check: 30 minutes. Where did time go?! Everything was happening too fast! All of a sudden she gave me a big one right on the lips!
And that was it- I was out for the count.
10 minutes. Just enough time for me to get a treat.
I deserved it. I had a quickie with Paris.
I’ll be back for more. Mwah!
